Multi-generational living at The Serra Residences

No 1-bedroom units, private-lift access on the largest stacks, and space designed for a household with different generations' needs.

The Serra Residences is unusual among new launches in a specific way: there is no 1-bedroom unit anywhere in the development. Every one of the 133 homes is 2 Bedroom + Study or larger. That's a deliberate design choice worth understanding if you're house-hunting for a multi-generational or growing family.

A unit mix built around families, not studios

Across both collections — The Serra Residences on Levels 4–16 and The Summit on Levels 18–28 — the seven unit types range from 2 Bedroom + Study (710–958 sqft) up to Penthouses (2,600–3,400 sqft). There's no studio or 1-bedroom stock competing for the same buyer pool, which also means no smaller-unit investor crowd driving a different kind of demand in the same building.

Private-lift stacks for extended families

The 4 Bedroom Premium and 5 Bedroom Premium types, along with both Penthouse types, come with private-lift access — entered via Levels 1, 2, 3 or 17 depending on stack. For a multi-generational household, this matters in a concrete way: private-lift access means a household sharing a home across generations isn't sharing a lift lobby with every other resident on the floor, which is a meaningfully different experience from a standard shared-corridor layout.

Space for the whole household, inside and out

Roughly half the site is softscaped — the wellness garden, retreat lounge, zen deck and pool surrounds spread across Levels 2, 3 and 17 — giving a multi-generational household genuinely different spaces to use depending on who needs what: a quieter garden corner for grandparents, a more active pool and tennis court area for kids, and a Sky Terrace vantage point above it all. See the Facilities page for the full layout.

Schools and amenities within the household's daily radius

St. Joseph's Institution Junior is about 10 minutes on foot via a pedestrian overhead bridge — no road crossings for school-going children — or roughly 2 minutes by car. Combined with Novena MRT's sheltered underground link and the cluster of malls, parks and medical facilities detailed on our Location page, the address is built to serve a household with genuinely different members' needs on any given day, from school runs to grandparents' medical appointments at the adjacent HealthCity Novena precinct.

Who this suits

If you're specifically looking for a home that can comfortably house three generations under one roof, with real separation of space rather than everyone sharing one living room, the private-lift stacks and larger-format unit mix here are built for exactly that.
